We do have a waitlist for approved puppy applicants, and all approved applications will be added to this list going forward. I do not require an application fee at this time, but this may change in the future if the need arises. I prefer to spend time getting to know my potential puppy homes. This way I can really get a feel for the kind of dog that will be suited for them, so the sooner you reach out, the better.
All of our puppies are sold with limited AKC registration. To ensure every puppy from the litter is registered, every puppy will be registered by us, regardless if the dog is to be shown or not.
We do not place based on color. I will take color preference in mind, but at the end of the day, we match puppies with homes based on structure, temperament testing, and observations from their time with us.
I do not take deposits until puppies are two weeks old. Deposits are non refundable unless there is not a puppy suitable for the home in question. Puppies are matched with homes at 7 weeks, once final structural evaluations are made and temperament testing has been done. Puppies are ready to go home after 10 weeks of age. I do not ship my puppies via cargo, and instead require puppy buyers to fly in to Huntingon, West Virginia and fly their puppy home as carry on. This way we can meet face to face and you have a chance to meet the mother and possibly the father of your puppy. While this is preferred, in the event that flying in or driving to us is not possible, I ask that you use a puppy nanny or reputable transport company to bring your puppy to you. I am happy to recommend companies.
As of 2023, I no longer place puppies in co-own or breeding homes. Everything that isn't retained for my program is to go as a pet on limited AKC registration with a strict spay/neuter agreement. Preference goes to active performance homes.
I require a contract to be signed prior to sending each puppy home. This contract contains my health guarantee, as well as the agreement between my puppy buyers and myself. It outlines what is expected of my buyers, as well as what is expected of me as the breeder. My contract is available for viewing by anyone genuinely interested in a puppy from us.
