Astra is a sweet and eager to please dog. His favorite thing to do is work for his person. He LIVES to train. He is one of the fastest learners I have ever met - a few repetitions of something new and it sticks like glue.
Astra takes a while to warm up to someone new, but once he does, he becomes their best friend. He is a kisser - he loves to give licks. He also loves for you to hold his paw, especially when he's being groomed on the grooming table. Astra loves toys. Often time you can find him romping around with a chuck-it ball or squeaky toys in his mouth.
Astra is currently closing in on his UKC championship. We will continue to work on our goals in UKC and AKC conformation, and plan to compete in rally together in the near future.
